What a treat and pleasure to receive Allie Mc Kay from KTLA Morning News this morning at Brasil Brasil Cultural Center (BBCC). KTLA contacted us a couple months ago and asked if we would like to be featured on KTLA Morning News. Of course, we didn’t need to think twice about this great honor to be contacted by them to feature us. What a blessing! So they came, bright and early at 5am, and we gathered some great artists, dancers, musicians and Capoeiristas to do the show but fires took over the greater LA area and we had to reschedule. Today, February 12, 2014, we went for it again and it was great! Thanks for all the great comments on social media, calls, and emails from many of those who saw us, it was a fun experience! Thanks to everyone who got up so early (not once but twice) to support us and BBCC. Everyone looked great and vibrant. There were 3 segments of 3 minutes and a couple 10 second teases. There is one more pre-recorded segment which will air one the 1pm News. Click the 3 links to see the 3 live segments. Since there isn’t enough time to cover everything we do in 3 minutes segments, we covered Capoeira, Samba, Brazilian Dance Fit Bootcamp, Ballet Folcorico Do Brasil’s educational shows, and talked about our Conversational Portuguese courses since so many people are trying to learn Portuguese before the World Cup and Olympics, which will take place in Brazil. Thank you so much to KTLA Morning News and to Allie Mc Kay for supporting BBCC and believing in what we do!
